Ausgangspunkt: Berlin Tegel Airport: From the airport
to the hotel, a taxi will cost you about 18 DM. Alternatively,
take the direct airport shuttle bus called "JetExpress
TXL". It leaves from the airport daily between 6:30am
and 11:10pm every 10 minutes, all day Saturday and Sunday
until 1:50pm every 20 minutes, subsequently reverting
every 10 minutes. A single ticket costs 9,90 DM, it may
be integrated into daily tickets and group tickets, it
is to be purchased from the driver. Leave the bus at stop
"U Turmstrasse". Walk forward about 200 yards to Spree-Bogen
Centrum. After passing underneath the entrance building,
proceed to the waterfront and to the hotel entrance.N:
Ausgangspunkt: Berlin Schonefeld Airport: From the airport
to the hotel, a taxi will cost you a fortune since the
airport is located outside the city. Public transport
costs 3,90 DM and is easy to handle. Take bus line 171
right outside the airport building, taking you to Berlin-Schonefeld
railway station. Change to the S-Bahn (rapid transit train)
line S9 in direction of "Westkreuz". The ride takes about
45 minutes and offers some scenic views, especially when
crossing Alexanderplatz (TV tower on the left) and the
Reichstag building (after Friedrichstrasse station, on
the left). Get off at "Bellevue" and take exit to the
rear. When crossing the Spree river on a bridge, the hotel
is visible on your left. Take footpath along the riverside.S:

transport is easy to handle and costs 3,90 DM. Take the
U-Bahn (underground) opposite the airport building (next
to the monument)- line U6 in direction of "Alt-Tegel".
Get off at "Zinnowitzer Strasse" and change to bus line
245 in direction of "Zoologischer Garten". Get off at
9th stop " Kleiner Tiergarten", right across the street
from Spree-Bogen Centrum. After passing underneath the
entrance building, proceed to the waterfront and to the
hotel entrance.
